Kim Kardashian on How She and Kanye Maintain a Strong Marriage Despite Crazy Schedules

There’s a lot for Kim Kardashian to keep up with now that her brood has expanded to five with the January birth of daughter Chicago (not to mention her always-on-the-go extended family). But, the reality star reveals in a new cover story for Elle, that doesn’t mean that she has to sacrifice her relationship with Kanye West.
“My home and my heart feel really full right now, in the best way,” she told the publicationof her family life, adding that she felt four would be the maximum number of children she’d consider having. ‘I don’t think i could handle more than that. My time is spread really thin.”
“And I think it’s important that in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids,” she added. Her marriage to West, 40, has only been strengthened by the addition of each little one and their growing family, she said. “He’s taught me to have more of an opinion. I’ve taught him to be a bit more calm or cautious. We’re a good balance.”
Kardashian, 37, has always been candid about the couple’s home life and how important nurturing that has been to their relationship.
In fact, Kardashian revealed during a panel session at the Create & Cultivate Summit last month the exact moment she knew West was the one for her.
“I sleep with the heat on … 80 degrees and socks and a robe, every single night,” she told the audience. “The first night I slept at Kanye’s house … I won’t say the date because I’ll get in trouble, but years and years ago, he slept with the heat on and socks, and I was like, ‘[Oh my God], I met my soulmate.’”
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar back in 2016, the pair was asked to name their favorite body part on their partner. West’s answer was too sweet:
“Is the face a body part? My favorite body part of Kim’s: heart.”
